BIOGRAPHY

Mathew Mozzoni is a composer and guitarist. Mathew has composed music for animation and live-action film and television, including HBO MAX short, Kent Hammer, and films such as The Dead Driver, and West of Greatness. Mathew was the composer and sound designer for the ROBLOX game, Clucky's, and has written music for other games such as Thunderday and Parkour Legends. Mathew was a 2023 Best Original Score bronze award winner at the Independent Shorts Awards for his work on The Dead Driver, a short film starring Lance E. Nichols from TREME. Mathew was a 2023 finalist for the ASCAP young jazz composer awards. Mathew holds a Bachelors of Music in Jazz Performance from the University of Louisville, where he was a guitar scholarship student.

As a guitarist and music director, Mathew worked with Linkin' Bridge (Americas Got Talent), alongside which he toured the United States and opened for acts such as Backstreet Boys, Commodores, Frankie Beverly & Maze, Babyface, and more. As a recording artist, Mathew released "Hot Light" in 2023, a funk and jazz-fusion album that includes collaborations with the likes of vocalist Garcie Terzian. Mathew also assists Kevin Manthei (Invader Zimm, Robot Chicken) at Triumph Audio, a boutique sampling company, he has helped ship several flagship virtual instruments. Mathew's work on virtual instruments at Triumph appeared in Amazon Originals Angry Birds Mystery Island. Mathew earned an MFA in Media Composition & Orchestration from the University of Chichester, where he graduated with Merit.
